Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery address, course or product choices, order history, correspondence, model-treatment interests, information you submit through a form, and technical information such as your IP address, browser type and cookie preferences.

When you pay online, payment information is processed securely by our payment provider, currently SumUp. ML Training Centre does not receive or store your complete card number.

How we use your information

  • To process course bookings, product orders, payments, refunds and delivery.
  • To send confirmations and important information about a booking or order.
  • To respond to enquiries and model applications.
  • To provide customer support and keep necessary business records.
  • To maintain website security, prevent fraud and improve the website.
  • To send marketing only where you have consented or where the law otherwise permits it. You can opt out at any time.

We process information where it is necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue our legitimate business interests, or where you have given consent.

Course bookings and shop orders

Our shop and checkout use WordPress and WooCommerce. We use the information supplied at checkout to take payment, manage your order, contact you about it, arrange course attendance or product delivery, and meet accounting and legal requirements. UK product delivery is currently offered at a flat rate of £4.95 where applicable.

Models form and contact forms

When you submit the Models form, the details you enter are sent to ML Training Centre using FormSubmit. We use them to assess your interest, contact you about suitable opportunities and manage any appointment that is agreed. Please do not submit information that is not relevant to your enquiry.

Who we share information with

We share only what is necessary with service providers that help us operate the website and fulfil your request. These may include our website host, WordPress and WooCommerce services, FormSubmit, SumUp, email providers, delivery providers, professional advisers and authorities where disclosure is legally required. Payment providers handle payment information under their own privacy terms.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we expect appropriate legal safeguards to be used.

Cookies, analytics and embedded content

The website may use essential cookies for the basket, checkout, security and site preferences. It may also use analytics or social-media features. Embedded content, including Instagram or Facebook content, may allow those services to collect information in line with their own privacy notices. You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie controls shown on the website, although disabling essential cookies may affect checkout.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet accounting, tax, legal and safeguarding requirements. Order and payment records may need to be kept for the period required by law. Enquiries and model applications are reviewed and removed when they are no longer needed.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and transfer of information you supplied. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent.

To exercise a right, email info@ml-trainingcentre.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please contact us promptly if you believe information connected with your booking, order or enquiry may have been compromised.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or by calling 0303 123 1113.
